Jiuquan Iron And Steel(group) Co.,Ltd.(referred to as Jiuquan) is located in Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province. It was founded in 1958. Gansu Jiuquan Iron and Steel Group Hongxing Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. is a listed subsidiary of Jiuquan Iron and Steel Group. It owns two mines, Jingtieshan Mine and Xigou Limestone Mine, it has formed a complete set of carbon steel and stainless steel modern process production lines from mining, beneficiation, sintering, coking to ironmaking, steelmaking, hot rolling, and cold rolling. The main equipment has reached the domestic advanced level and the leading level in Northwest China. The main products include carbon steel series of high-speed wire rod, high-speed bar, medium and thick plates, hot rolled coils, cold rolled plates, galvanised plates, alloy coated plates, and stainless steel series of hot rolled coils, cold rolled sheets, medium and thick plates and hundreds of varieties. JISCO is the third stainless steel producer in China with a complete set of stainless steel production processes from steelmaking, hot rolling to cold rolling, with an annual output of 1.2 million tonnes of stainless steel production capacity. JISCO's steel products and production system have passed ISO9001 quality management system and ISO14001 environmental management system certification, and the "JISCO" brand is a national "well-known trademark". The products are mainly sold to the domestic market and foreign markets such as Europe, America, Japan and Korea. Stainless steel, carbon steel cold rolled sheet and other high value-added products have entered the domestic home appliances, automobiles, electronics, solar energy, petroleum and petrochemical, nuclear power and other high-end fields.

The non-ferrous industry has two electrolytic aluminum production bases in Jiayuguan and Dingxi, the Alpat alumina production base in Jamaica, and the JISCO Tiancheng color aluminum deep processing base. There are multiple large-scale electrolytic aluminum production lines of 240kA, 400kA, and 500kA, forming an annual production capacity of 1.65 million tons of alumina, 1.7 million tons of electrolytic aluminum, 600,000 tons of cast-rolled aluminum strips, and 180,000 tons of cold-rolled aluminum strips. It is the largest aluminum smelting and processing enterprise in Gansu Province.

The power energy industry has 32 sets (sets) of self-provided firepower and surplus energy recovery generator sets, 85 6kV to 330kV substations, transmission and distribution networks and corresponding power transmission facilities, providing power support for the group company's steel, nonferrous metals and other industries, and at the same time undertaking 93% of heating in Jiayuguan City.

The equipment manufacturing industry covers the design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of metallurgical equipment, wind power equipment, photovoltaic equipment, photothermal equipment, electrical equipment, and related non-standard equipment. It has Jiayuguan headquarters, Jiuquan Tiancheng, Jiuquan Guazhou, Lanzhou Yuzhong , Luoyang Yichuan and other 5 production bases, with a total annual manufacturing and processing capacity of 170,000 tons. Producer service industries mainly include logistics, architectural design and construction, circular economy, refractory materials, financial services, real estate, tourism hotels, medical services, education and training, etc., which have gradually formed during the 60-year development of JISCO. Among them, the logistics industry has 782 kilometers of self-provided railways (the total length of Jiace Railway is 459 kilometers), and 1,500 self-provided railway gondola cars; the hotel industry has 7 hotels in Jiayuguan, Beijing, and Shanghai, with a total of more than 1,500 rooms of various types.

Modern agriculture mainly includes planting, breeding, dairy and wine brewing, etc. Among them, the wine industry has a fermentation capacity of 10,000 tons and a wine storage capacity of 18,000 tons. Currently, there are five series of dry wine, ice wine, liqueur, and grape wine (brandy) 20 Multiple varieties. Qimu Dairy Co., Ltd. is a national standardization demonstration farm for dairy cows. Its products cover 5 types of pasteurized milk, sterilized milk, modified milk, fermented milk, and milk drinks. It has an annual production capacity of 34,000 tons of raw milk and has obvious competitive advantages in the regional market.
