Under the same strength level, by adding titanium and other alloys, the addition of precious alloy elements such as niobium and molybdenum can be reduced, which can maintain the strength of steel while also having a very high-cost performance. This technology has been promoted for more than 200,000 tons of high-quality plates, reducing alloy costs by tens of millions of yuan.
Based on this technology, Pangang has successfully developed titanium micro-alloyed high-strength beam steel, high-strength weathering steel automotive structural steel, and other special products, achieving stable production and application. At the same time, Pangang Research Institute and its partners set up a "sales, production, and research" working group to quickly apply the technology to the market, improve the market competitiveness of Pangang's hot-rolled high-strength steel series products, and contribute to the brand building of high-quality plates.
