This is the first time that the No. 5 galvanizing unit of the plant has reached the maximum capacity of the equipment design width, breaking the historical production limit width and setting the record for the widest galvanized automobile outer plate produced by Ansteel Group so far.
Ultra-wide galvanized automobile outer panels have the characteristics of high surface quality, high elongation, and excellent ultra-deep drawing performance, and are mainly used in the manufacture of large-size automobile SUVs and MPV bodies. Automobile OEMs can use them to design large parts such as front hoods, doors, side panels, etc. that are formed in one step, avoiding welding and splicing, and improving the aesthetics of the entire vehicle body.
The order specification produced by the general factory this time is 0.63×1850mm ultra-wide galvanized automobile outer panels for the manufacture of automobile front hoods, which have extremely stringent requirements on product surface quality and dimensional accuracy. Because customers have edge trimming requirements for products, it is necessary to reserve 20mm of edge trimming width on both sides of the feed width to ensure that the finished product size and edge quality are qualified. To meet customer needs, the technical research team of the general factory has exerted the "three extremes" style, extreme response, extreme improvement, and extreme root-seeking, and achieved technological breakthroughs through a series of technical innovations.
The successful production of the extremely wide galvanized outer plate is another important achievement of the Plate Cold Rolling Plant in terms of technological innovation and product upgrading.
