Recently, Jingang Holding Group's hot-dip galvanized aluminum-magnesium products have achieved good results in the neutral salt spray test. This is another phased achievement after the product passed the 2000-hour and 3500-hour neutral salt spray tests.
Hot-dip galvanized aluminum-magnesium products are an important support for the Group to thoroughly implement the Chairman's "high-end product" transformation and development deployment, and are also an upgrade of existing hot-dip galvanized products. The Al and Mg components in zinc, aluminum, and magnesium interact with each other: Al forms a dense oxide, and the cathode polarization reduces the influence of the zinc-iron reaction on the coating; Mg promotes the development of oxide corrosion products towards a dense, low solubility, and poor conductivity, forming MgZn₂ alloy compounds. Therefore, zinc, aluminum, and magnesium products have the characteristics of high corrosion resistance, high cutting-edge protection performance, wear resistance, and processability, and can be used to produce photovoltaic brackets.
As we all know, photovoltaic brackets serve as the structural support of the entire photovoltaic system. During its operation, in addition to bearing the load of the components themselves, wind load, and snow load, they also have to withstand the erosion of environmental stresses such as moisture, light, and temperature. The design service life of photovoltaic power generation systems is generally more than 25 years. Therefore, high requirements are placed on the corrosion resistance life of zinc-aluminum-magnesium products. Products must pass strict neutral salt spray tests according to standards. The continuous breakthroughs in the neutral salt spray test of Jingang's hot-dip galvanized aluminum-magnesium products are necessary tests and extreme challenges for the harsh conditions of application scenarios.
The Group started planning a complete corrosion resistance test experiment at the early stage of hot-dip galvanized aluminum-magnesium product development, and specially commissioned the well-known third-party testing agency SGS to carry out salt spray corrosion tests, accelerated corrosion tests and outdoor exposure tests on different coatings, incisions, cupping, etc., to comprehensively evaluate product performance.
