According to China standards, we mainly stipulate in three aspects, as follows:
1. Nominal diameter range and recommended diameter The nominal diameter range of steel bars is 6-25mm, and the nominal diameters of steel bars recommended by the standard are 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50mm.
2. The surface shape and size tolerance of the ribbed steel plate The transverse rib of the ribbed steel bar should meet the following basic requirements: The angle β between the transverse rib and the axis of the steel plate should not be less than 45 degrees. When the angle is not greater than 70 degrees, The directions of the transverse ribs on opposite sides of the reinforcing bar shall be opposite; the distance between the transverse rib and the distance l shall not be greater than 0.7 times the nominal diameter of the reinforcing bar; the angle α between the side of the transverse rib and the surface of the reinforcing bar shall not be less than 45 degrees; The sum of gaps (including the width of longitudinal ribs) shall not be greater than 20% of the nominal perimeter of the reinforcement; when the nominal diameter of the reinforcement is not greater than 12mm, the relative rib area shall not be less than 0.055; the nominal diameter is 14mm and 16mm, the relative rib area shall not be less than 0.060; when the nominal diameter is greater than 16mm, the relative rib area should not be less than 0.065.
3. Length and allowable deviation
a. Length: Reinforcement bars are usually delivered according to a fixed length, and the specific delivery length should be specified in the contract; 5% of the coils (two coils if there are less than two coils) consist of two steel bars. The weight and diameter of the plate are negotiated and stipulated by the supply and demand sides.
b. Permissible deviation of length: The permissible deviation of the length of the steel bar when it is delivered according to the fixed length shall not be greater than +50mm.
c. Bending degree and end: The bending deformation of the straight steel bar should not affect the normal use, and the total bending degree should not exceed 40% of the total length of the steel bar; the end of the steel bar should be cut straight, and the local deformation should not affect the use.
