Cold-rolled ribbed steel rebars are hot-rolled round wire rods that are cold-rolled or cold-drawn and reduced in diameter to form three-sided or two-sided ribbed steel rebars. According to the GB/T 13788-2017 "Technical Specification for Cold Rolled Ribbed Reinforcing Bars for Concrete Reinforcement", cold rolled ribbed rebars are divided into five grades according to their strength: HRB335 (335MPa), HRB400 (400MPa), HRB400E (400MPa), HRB500 (500MPa) and HRB500E (500MPa). In addition, the shape of the cold-rolled ribbed reinforcement rebars has a crescent-shaped rib, with the ribs on three sides evenly distributed along the cross-section of the rebar, one of which must be opposite the other two sides. Cold rolled ribbed rebars are available in diameters ranging from 6mm to 50mm in 2mm increments and in lengths of 9m or 12m, with other lengths available on request. The shape of the cold rolled ribbed reinforcement should conform to the geometric requirements specified in the standard, including the shape of the ribs, rib spacing, rib height, etc. The angle between the centre line of the ribs and the axis of the bar should comply with the following two points: for cold rolled ribbed rebars with a diameter of less than or equal to 16 mm, the angle between the centre line of the ribs and the axis of the rebar should be greater than or equal to 30 degrees. For cold rolled ribbed steel rebars with a diameter greater than 16 mm, the angle between the centre line of the rib and the axis of the rebar should be greater than or equal to 45 degrees.
