Mechanical galvanizing is an anti-corrosion coating with a different process from electro-galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, and Dacromet treatment.
Its process characteristics are:
1. It can be operated under room temperature production conditions.
2. The formation of the plating layer does not belong to electrodeposition but is formed by the rotation of the plating barrel loading the parts, causing the parts media in the barrel to collide with each other and realizing the transfer of mechanical industrial energy to form the plating layer.
3. The coating structure is that the particle-level spherical zinc powder is collided and deformed by mechanical force and becomes a layered superposition of flat and dish-shaped zinc particles to condense into a coating. This structural coating has the basic physical characteristics of metallic zinc.
The function of the coating is to provide an anodic protective coating required for anti-corrosion for basic iron parts.
