Supplement to answer theoretical weight formula for other steel products:

Flat steel, steel plate, steel belt: W = 0.00785 × wide × thick

Fanggang: W = 0.00785 × edge long ²

Round steel, wire, steel wire: W = 0.00617 × diameter ²

Steel pipe: W = 0.02466 × Wall thickness (outer diameter-wall thickness)

The length units in all formulas are millimeters.

The theoretical weight W (KG/m) calculation formula of steel products such as steel products:

Equal-leg angle steel: W = 0.00785 × edge thickness (2 side width-edge thick)

Unequal-leg angle steel: W = 0.00785 × edge thickness (long side width+short side width-edge thick)

I-beam: w = 0.00785 × waist thickness [High+f (leg wide-waist thick)]

Channel steel: W = 0.00785 × waist thickness [High+E (leg wide-waist thick)]

 

Note:

1. The accurate calculation formulas for angle steel, I-beam, and channel steel are complicated. In the calculations, the relevant values are taken as approximations.

2. F: The general steels and A are 3.34, B is 2.65, and C is 2.26.

3. E: The general steels and A are 3.26, the B is 2.44, and the C is 2.24.

4. The length units in all formulas are millimeters.
