②Permissible value of external dimension deviation. The requirements for the bending degree of rebar and the geometric shape of the steel bar are stipulated in the relevant standards.

2. Specific standard number

China's current steel bar standards include "Hot Light Round Steel Bars for Reinforced Concrete" GB1499.1-2017 and "Steel for Reinforced Concrete Part 2: Hot-rolled Ribbed Steel Bars" GB/T 1499.2-2018. China National Standardization Administration approved the publication of "Steel for Reinforced Concrete Part 2: Hot-rolled Ribbed Steel Bars" with Announcement No. 2 of 2018. This revision of GB/T 1499.2-2018 is not equivalent to adopting ISO 6935-2:2015 "Steel for Reinforced Concrete Part 2: Ribbed Steel Bars".
