In general, the weight can be expressed in terms of weight per unit length, for example kilograms per metre (kg/m) or tonnes per metre (t/m). The permissible deviation of an angle steel is the range of error allowed between its dimensions and weight and the values specified in the standard during manufacture, and usually involves deviation limits in terms of side length, side thickness, etc.
