The requirements for cold-rolled strip steel mainly include the following aspects:
①Surface condition and surface roughness. Cold-rolled strip steel has good process-ability and a beautiful surface and is mostly used in exterior plates and deep-drawing plates, so we must avoid surface defects.
②Dimensional and shape accuracy. The dimensional accuracy of cold-rolled strip steel includes thickness, width and length accuracy, and its deviations are specified in relevant standards. Shape accuracy is generally expressed in terms of flatness, transverse curvature, and right angles, and their allowable values are also specified in the standard.
③Process-ability. Cold-rolled products are widely used and processed in many ways. From simple bending to deep drawing processing, process-ability can be divided into form-ability (expansion and deep drawing properties) and shape-ability. Form-ability refers to the ability to be processed into a certain shape. Form-ability refers to the size and shape obtained by removing the load after being processed into a certain shape. At the same time, the characteristic of maintaining the processed shape is called shape stability.
④Timeliness. The so-called aging phenomenon refers to the phenomenon of changes in metals or alloys over time. Cold-rolled steel plates have quenching aging and strain aging. Quenching aging occurs when the steel plate is rapidly cooled down in a certain temperature range; strain aging occurs when it is flattened and then cold processed after annealing.
⑤Special ability. Mainly refers to enamel performance, corrosion resistance, electromagnetic properties, punching properties, etc.
