Hot-rolled steel plate & coil and cold-rolled steel sheet & coil are both ordinary steel. First of all, from the production process, hot rolled steel plate & coil is a slab (mainly for continuous casting billet) as raw material, after heating by the rough rolling unit and finishing rolling unit made of steel strip; cold rolled steel sheet & coil is hot rolled steel coil as raw material, after pickling to remove oxidation skin for cold continuous rolling and rolled hard coil. Secondly, in terms of size, hot rolled steel plate & coil (in the form of flat plate or coil form) is generally between 2.0mm-13.5mm thick; cold rolled steel sheet & coil (in the form of flat plate or coil form) is generally between 0.2mm-3.0mm thick.
