Stainless steel profiles are of good quality, hard and not easily deformed. Their surface has a dense anti-oxidation film and is not prone to rust. So, how do we weld and reuse stainless steel profiles with these characteristics in our lives? We need to use a welding machine to process the welded parts under high temperature and high pressure, and use high temperature and high pressure to change the two welded joints from the original solid to a liquid . Secondly, depending on the actual situation, we can choose whether we need fillers, or directly use the relationship between atoms or protons to form a whole. The welding is then completed by cooling.
There are many precautions when welding stainless steel profiles.
1. Pay attention to the handling of spatter when welding. The spatter produced by welding can easily adhere to stainless steel profiles, which will shorten the service life of stainless steel. Before welding, spray anti-spatter agent on the welding joint to prevent splashing.
2. During the welding process, if the operation is improper, it is easy to leave rough defects on the surface and damage the protective film. When welding, attention should be paid to igniting the arc on the weld and dissolving the traces in the weld.
3. Welding characteristics of stainless steel profiles. Stainless steel profiles of this common material have the characteristics of strong thermal conductivity, strong hot meltability, large linear expansion coefficient and relatively difficult welding. Certain welding methods should be used during the welding process to ensure welding quality.
4. Residues spatter during welding. Slag splashing during welding is directly related to the welding process. Welding arcs with different parameters will produce different effects. For example, gas tungsten arc welding or inert gas tungsten arc welding produces less spatter. However, two arc welding processes, gas metal arc welding and fluxed arc welding, produce more spatter. At this point, the parameters must be modified. Welding produces a harsh light that can affect your eyes. You will need to wear professional goggles to protect yourself.
