A stainless steel etching plate is a chemical method that uses the strong oxidizing property of ferric chloride to etch various patterns on the surface of stainless steel. Stainless steel uses an 8K mirror plate, brushed plate, and sandblasting plate as the base plate. After the etching treatment, the stainless steel surface can be further processed.
For example, various complex processes such as partial hexagonal patterning, wire drawing, gold inlay, and partial titanium gold are carried out on the surface of stainless steel to achieve alternating light and dark patterns on the surface with brilliant colors. The biggest advantages of stainless steel etched plates are corrosion resistance, wear resistance, not easy to rust, safety and environmental protection, recyclability, and good stability, so they are loved by most people.
The stainless steel etching process is divided into shallow etching and deep etching.
Most of the depth of shallow etching is below 5C, and the screen printing process is used to form the etching pattern.
Deep etching is a deep etching of more than 5C. The etched pattern has obvious unevenness and a strong feel to the touch. It basically uses the photosensitive etching method.
