Firstly, the outer diameter of stainless steel welded pipes is usually expressed in millimetre (mm) and the standard gives a wide range of options for the outer diameter, such as 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm etc. Secondly, the wall thickness of stainless steel welded pipe is also expressed in millimetre (mm), and a variety of nominal wall thickness options are given in the standard, such as 0.5mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, etc. Finally, the length of stainless steel welded pipe is usually expressed in metre (m), with common length ranges given in the standard, such as 3m, 4m, 6m.
