Duplex Stainless Steel Coil

Duplex stainless steel coil & sheet belong to a class of steels known as duplex steels. Duplex steel plates were created to benefit from the benefits of both ferritic and austenitic steels. The microstructure of dual phase steel contains almost equal proportions of ferrite and austenite metal phases. Duplex steels contain no carbon and have 3% to 9% molybdenum additions. It also contains 21% to 30% chromium. The addition and amount of these materials give stainless steel duplex plates extraordinary corrosion resistance and tensile strength.
