China's Spot Market Dynamics:
Today, the price of hot rolled steel coil in major cities across the country is stable and weakening. The national average price of 3.0mm hot rolled steel coil was $555.43/ton, down $0.41/ton from the previous trading day. The national average price of 4.75mm hot rolled steel coil was $546.49/ton, down $0.41/ton from the previous trading day. Market quotations in early trading were mainly stable, with slight decreases in individual markets, and overall transactions were weak.
Today, the price of hot rolled strip steel in major cities across the country has declined steadily. The average price of 2.5*355mm hot-rolled strip is $543.60/ton, down $1.10/ton from yesterday. Prices in major cities are: Tangshan $526.82/ton, Ningbo $559.83/ton, and Lecong $541.95/ton.
