Color-coated steel plate is a kind of steel plate with organic coating. It has the advantages of good corrosion resistance, bright color, beautiful appearance, easy processing and forming, low cost and retaining the strength of the original steel plate. Therefore, color-coated steel plates have a wide range of applications and are becoming more and more popular in the steel industry. In order to help customers quickly understand the color of color-coated steel plates and accurately identify the color of color-coated steel plates, CSMC chose "Color Reference of Color-Coated Steel Plate" as the theme of this issue.

In this article, CSMC marks the colors of pre-painted steel plates commonly used in the steel trade according to the different coating materials on the surface of the pre-coated steel plates, hoping to help to customers.

1. PVDF fluorocarbon color coated plate

Due to the strong bond energy between the chemical bonds of PVDF, the coating has good corrosion resistance, color retention, mechanical properties, UV resistance and heat resistance. Fluorocarbon color steel plate (PVDF) color-coated plate is widely used in airports, high-speed rail, steel plants, chemical industry and other construction application fields that have high requirements for corrosion resistance and aging resistance.

2. HDP high weather-resistant color-coated board

HDP high weather-resistant color plate is also called high-performance color-coated plate. Its surface coating uses HDP high weather-resistant polyester coating and is baked at high temperatures. Because the resin molecular structure of HDP high weather-resistant polyester is different from that of ordinary PE polyester, HDP high weather-resistant polyester has better resistance to ultraviolet damage and better durability.

3. SMP silicon-modified color coated board

SMP silicon-modified polyester color-coated board uses SMP silicon-modified resin ester coating. This coating has good hardness, abrasion resistance and heat resistance, good outdoor durability and non-chalking properties.

4. PE polyester color coated board

PE polyester color-coated board uses PE polyester coating. Because PE polyester color-coated sheets have good adhesion, are easy to process and form, have a wide range of color and gloss options, and are cheap, PE polyester color-coated sheets are the most widely used color-coated products.

5. Mesh Color Coated Sheet

Reticulated color-coated sheet, also called grid color coated sheet, refers to the color-coated sheet coated on galvanized, aluminized zinc plated, cold rolled and other substrates with a kind of high weather-resistant polyester coating that has the effect of reticulation on the surface of the coating after drying. It is mainly used in the indoor and outdoor decoration of civil buildings, villas, high-end integrated houses, industrial buildings and so on.
