On February 20, 2025, Shougang Jingtang Company's hot-rolling 1580 production line successfully achieved the rolling of 1.2 mm ultra-thin products, marking another new breakthrough for Jingtang in the production of hot-rolled ultra-thin products.
Faced with the challenge of rolling the ultra-thin product of 1.2 mm, the hot rolling department rose to the challenge and formed a technical research team to carry out a series of technical research on technical problems such as difficult plate shape control and poor rolling stability that are easy to appear in the rolling process of ultra-thin products. The team successfully broke through the technical bottleneck of ultra-thin product production and achieved stable rolling by optimizing rolling process parameters, improving equipment functional accuracy, and improving the level of automation control.
The successful rolling of 1.2 mm ultra-thin products not only expanded the specifications of Shougang Jingtang's hot-rolled products, improved the manufacturing capacity of the 1580 production line and the added value of Jingtang's hot-rolled products, but also provided a solid guarantee for the company to adhere to innovation-driven and pursue excellence.
