On September 28, the Shanghai-Nanjing High-speed Railway along the Yangtze River was put into running, forming the second intercity high-speed railway between Shanghai and Nanjing. The further density of the Yangtze River Delta railway network will better support regional integrated development.

Since the construction project of the Shanghai-Nanjing Yangtze River High-speed Railway started in October 2018, Zhongtian Iron and Steel has supplied nearly 150,000 tons of high-strength threaded steel bars. The products cover iron-standard series third-level and fourth-level earthquake-resistant rebars.

Now, Zhongtian Iron and Steel has formed a product series of construction steel, high-quality special steel bars, high-quality special steel wire rods, etc. The products supplied for the Shanghai-Nanjing Coastal High-speed Railway Project are mainly construction steel. "Zhongtian Brand" construction steel has the production capacity of a full range of rebar products, ranging from ordinary, earthquake-resistant to fine-grained, grades from 400 MPa to 700 MPa, and specifications from 6 mm coiled screws to 50 mm straight bars.

As early as 2010, Zhongtian Iron and Steel jointly developed 500 MPa and 700 MPa high-strength ribbed steel bars with the Iron and Steel Research Institute and passed the scientific and technological achievements evaluation organized by the Chinese Metal Society and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Nowadays, the technical indicators of high-strength earthquake-resistant rebar such as "Zhongtian Brand" HRB400E and HRB500E are better than national standards and are widely used in railway tracks, bridge engineering, nuclear power, and other fields.
