Horizontal packaging:
Basic packaging structure: This is a more conventional packaging method. Iron sheet is usually used as the outer packaging material to tightly wrap the prepainted steel coil, which can protect the prepainted steel coil from scratches and other damage during transportation and storage. The inside of the iron sheet package will be lined with moisture-proof paper to prevent the prepainted steel coil from getting damp. The inner diameter of the prepainted steel coil under this packaging method is generally 508 mm or 610 mm, which is suitable for most conventional transportation and storage scenarios.
Special reinforcement measures: Some customers will add iron sleeves inside the prepainted steel coil according to actual needs. This iron sleeve can play a supporting role and prevent the prepainted steel coil from collapsing during transportation or long-term storage. However, adding an iron sleeve is a special requirement and may incur additional costs.

Vertical packaging:
Packing form characteristics: Vertical packaging is a packaging method that has gradually emerged in recent years. When the prepainted steel coil is vertically packaged, the core of the coil is upward, and the bottom is fixed on a wooden pallet. This packaging method can make the prepainted steel coils more stable during transportation and can effectively prevent the prepainted steel coils from being deformed and scratched due to shaking or squeezing, even in long-distance transportation or complex transportation environments.

Standard export packaging:
Packaging materials and reinforcement methods: If the prepainted steel coils are used for export, standard export packaging will be used. The outer surface of this packaging method is usually waterproof kraft paper and galvanized iron. The outer surface of the prepainted steel coils is usually waterproof kraft paper and galvanized iron. It is also protected again with galvanized iron sheets, and the entire packaging is reinforced with steel wire.

2. Vertical packaging
Vertical packaging appeared later than horizontal packaging. Its advantages are that it is more secure during transportation and it can avoid roll collapse without iron sleeves, ensuring that the prepainted steel coil is delivered to customers safely and without scratches. Of course, there are additional costs because vertical packaging is more troublesome than horizontal packaging when loading and unloading vehicles.
